The son of a rich family, Nobuo was set to inherit his parents' inn after graduation. However, his passion lies with music, not the hospitality industry, and against his parents' wishes for their only son, Nobuo relentlessly pursues a career in the music industry. His dreams have never flown quite as high as to be a world class super star, instead happy enough to be playing in local bands. However, things do take a turn for him as a member of the Black Stones (BLAST, for short), a punk band that rockets to stardom.

Nobuo is a dreamy romanticist, no stranger to idle fantasies of both his career trajectory and his love life. He's patient, considerate, and has all the friendliness and loyalty of the ideal golden retriever boyfriend. His often cute personality might conflict with the cool, punk image he cultivates, but he's never one to conform and always someone who stays true to himself.

Nobuo is your average Japanese guy with no special talents aside from being able to shred on guitar. His biggest weaknesses are alcohol (no secret is safe after a couple of beers), and pretty girls. (And, perhaps, pretty boys.)

Can play guitar and writes his own music. As the son of generational innkeepers, he likely also has some general knowledge of the hospitality industry. He works at a record store, so possesses basic sales knowledge, and has extremely broad tastes in music.

Nana canon takes a pretty big dip into depression about two-thirds of the way through, so I'll tend toward pre-Blast debut to keep things a little easier. However, happy to delve into the trenches with the canon curious or familiar! Also open to potentially post-canon things in an AU sort of way, canon fix-its and what ifs, and canon divergence things. Also always happy to indulge in AUs in general.

I'm always here for Hachiko ♥ and open to any castmate except Takumi for shipping! Partial to Shin, Ren, Nana O. and Yasu. Any crossmedium and crosscanons are equally welcome. Note that I will approach non-het with some curiosity/apprehension on Nobu's end (and likely involving alcohol at first, at least for him).
